Last updated: 05\/16\/2025<\/strong>Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the website titanmedicaldevices.shop<\/a> (“Platform”). By accessing and using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the services offered by the Platform. <\/p>\n\n

Institutional Introduction<\/strong>SC Centrul de Formare in Medicina Functionala si a Mediului SRL, hereinafter referred to as CFMFM, is the entity responsible for the administrative and organizational aspects of the educational programs, events, and professional activities offered through the Platform. The website titanmedicaldevices.shop<\/a> is owned by CFMFM. Asociatia Societatea de Medicina Functionala si a Mediului, hereinafter referred to as ASMFM, is the non-profit organization responsible for obtaining accreditation for medical activities and professional events in relation to the Romanian College of Physicians, being an accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME). <\/p>\n\n

1. Eligibility and Registration<\/strong>Access to the materials and events available on the Platform is permitted only to adults, at least 18 years of age, who have full legal capacity according to Romanian legislation. Certain programs may be addressed exclusively to medical professionals and may require the presentation of evidence regarding professional qualifications.Registration on the Platform involves creating an account with true, complete, and updated information. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login data and for all activities performed through their account. <\/p>\n\n

2. Intellectual Property Rights<\/strong>All materials available on the Platform, including, but not limited to, texts, images, video materials, educational parts, tests, graphics, audio files, presentations, and any other educational content, are the exclusive property of SC Centrul de Formare in Medicina Functionala si a Mediului SRL or its partners and are protected by Romanian and international legislation regarding copyright and intellectual property.The user benefits from a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to access and use the materials exclusively for personal, educational, non-commercial purposes. Any reproduction, redistribution, transmission, public display, or commercial use of these materials is strictly prohibited without the prior written consent of the rights holder. <\/p>\n\n

3. License of Use and Access to Content<\/strong>By purchasing an educational program or a learning package, the user receives an individual, temporary license that allows access to the respective materials for a duration specified in the program description. This license:\u2022 is not transferable to other persons;\u2022 does not grant the right to distribute, copy, or modify the content;\u2022 does not grant the right to use the materials in other educational or commercial contexts. <\/p>\n\n

SC Centrul de Formare in Medicina Functionala si a Mediului SRL reserves the right to revoke the license in case of violation of the Terms or improper use of the Platform.<\/p>\n\n

4. Payment Methods, Refund Policy, and Financial Commitments<\/strong>Payment can be made through the following methods:\u2022 Bank card (Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro) through an authorized processor, in accordance with PCI-DSS security standards. If the user consents to recurring payment (e.g., annual membership subscription), card data may be stored securely by the payment processor, not by the Platform.Also, if the option for payment by card in installments through Banca Transilvania is chosen, the user automatically accepts the specific terms and conditions of this facility imposed by Banca Transilvania. The Platform is not a party to the credit agreement and does not assume responsibility for the approval conditions or installment repayment terms established by the bank. \u2022 Direct bank transfer \u2013 based on a pro forma invoice issued after registration for the event. Access to content is granted after payment confirmation. \u2022 PayPal \u2013 according to the terms and conditions imposed by PayPal. Use of this service implies acceptance of PayPal’s terms and its refund and buyer protection policy. <\/p>\n\n

According to OUG 34\/2014, the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract, without providing a reason, within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase. However, this right is limited in the case of digital content delivered immediately:\u2022 if the user has accessed or downloaded the materials, withdrawal is no longer possible;\u2022 by accepting these Terms, the user expressly consents that the delivery of content begins before the expiration of the 14 days and that they lose their right of withdrawal under these conditions. <\/p>\n\n

Refund requests are made by email to info@medicinafunctionala.ro and will be resolved within 14 business days.<\/p>\n\n

4.1. Financial commitments for partial participation in structured events and exceptional access extensions<\/strong>For certain educational events held in multiple parts (e.g., seminar-type programs, symposiums, academies, workshops, etc.), where participation involves a phased path (e.g., Basic, Advanced, Masterclass), the Platform offers the possibility of paying:\u2022 either the full fee at the time of registration (with any applicable discounts);\u2022 or the fee in installments, corresponding to each stage\/part.<\/p>\n\n

By completing the registration form and pressing the “Register with obligation to pay” or “Place order” button, the participant contractually assumes the entire fee related to the entire educational program, regardless of whether they opt for full payment or installments.<\/p>\n\n

In the event that the participant voluntarily withdraws or no longer participates in one of the following parts after accessing the first or second part, the full value of the program remains due and payable. This clause applies to cover the administrative, logistical, and organizational costs assumed by the Platform based on the initial registration. <\/p>\n\n

This provision is legal according to Art. 1169 of the Civil Code regarding contractual freedom and Art. 16 of OUG 34\/2014 regarding the exemption from the right of withdrawal in the case of services with a fixed schedule or delivered digital content.<\/p>\n\n

For clarity, this condition is presented in the Platform’s Terms and Conditions and becomes binding through explicit acceptance by checking the corresponding box in the registration form.<\/p>\n\n

Extension of access is granted for an additional monthly fee, established by the organizer, and may be approved for a maximum duration of 3 calendar months. Requests are made in writing, and approval is conditional on the evaluation of the reason and technical feasibility. <\/p>\n\n

Automatic extension is not guaranteed, and any additional extension (beyond the 3 months) may only be granted individually and exceptionally, based on a case-by-case analysis.<\/p>\n\n

Access time cannot be extended indefinitely, as the Platform’s educational content is subject to frequent updates in accordance with the evolution of scientific knowledge and current medical guidelines.<\/p>\n\n

4.2. Special rules regarding continuity for the Fundamental Symposium<\/strong>The Fundamental Symposium is structured in three consecutive parts: Basic, Advanced, and Masterclass. To maintain educational coherence and training quality, it is essential that the sequence between the three parts takes place within a reasonable time interval. <\/p>\n\n

Thus, the following limits apply:\u2022 between the completion of the Basic part and the start of the Advanced part, a break of maximum 6 months is accepted;\u2022 between the completion of the Advanced part and the start of the Masterclass part, a break of maximum 18 months is accepted.<\/p>\n\n

Exceeding these deadlines implies the obligation to participate in a “refresher” type event, dedicated to updating knowledge and resuming the fundamentals necessary for the next stages. The organizational and financial details of these refresher sessions will be communicated individually to participants depending on calendar and thematic availability. <\/p>\n\n

4.3. Issuance of invoices in case of installment payments for the Fundamental Symposium<\/strong>For participants who choose to pay the participation fee in installments, invoices are issued in stages, depending on the progress in completing the three parts of the Fundamental Symposium:\u2022 The invoice for the Basic part is issued before the actual start of this part;\u2022 The invoice for the Advanced part is issued immediately after the completion of the Basic part;\u2022 The invoice for the Masterclass part is issued immediately after the completion of the Advanced part.<\/p>\n\n

Issuing invoices in this manner serves to confirm the participant’s commitment to each subsequent stage and to ensure the organizational continuity of the program.<\/p>\n\n

5. Acceptable behavior and prohibited activities<\/strong>Users undertake to use the Platform in accordance with current legislation and good morals. The following are strictly prohibited: <\/p>\n\n
